Admission Requirements
In addition to the general requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should
- normally possess an honours degree in English or a language-related field. Applicants with a good honours degree in subjects other than English may also be considered. All applicants must satisfy the Graduate Panel that they have an adequate standard of English and have a strong interest in Literary Studies;
- submit a 500-word statement of interests/goals;
- submit a short writing sample (1000-1500 words), which should be a scholarly essay written on a topic related to literature.
