Funding Nature: Self-financed
In addition to the general requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should
- submit a written statement (around 1000 words, written in English / Chinese) explaining the purpose of their application and the focus of their academic / artistic interest;
- submit a portfolio of 10-15 original art works (in a SINGLE pdf file with file size not exceeding 5MB);
- attend an interview if shortlisted.
The Programme is divided into TWO streams:
A. Contemporary Art Practice
B. Chinese Art Practice
Stream declaration should be done when submitting the application.
The programme is supported by the UGC’s Hong Kong Future Talents Scholarship Scheme for Advanced Studies for the 2025–26 and 2026-27 intakes for selected local students. Please refer to the Hong Kong Future Talents Scholarship Scheme for Advanced Studies for more details.
