The normative period of study for the MPhil in English (Literary Studies) is two years.

Coursework includes required and elective courses in research methodology, comparative literature, genre studies, literary history, critical theory, and interdisciplinary studies.

Students with advanced qualifications or demonstrated abilities may be considered for exemption from part of the coursework.
