Prevailing tuition fee, based on course units registered in respective term(s), will be applicable to continuing students (students who need to extend study beyond normative study period) newly registered with effect from 2025-26. Any prevailing fee paid will not be refunded.

Admission Requirements
In addition to the general requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should:
- pass an entrance examination or interview conducted by the Graduate Division of Education, where required;
- Students admitted to the programme will conduct teaching practice in collaborating schools in Chinese Mainland and therefore proficiency in Putonghua is required. Preference will be given to applicants who have obtained a degree from a university in Chinese Mainland or taken a degree programme of which the medium of instruction is Putonghua. In order to be eligible to obtain teacher qualification in Chinese Mainland after completing the programme, students should also attain Grade B, Level 2 or above in all papers in The Test of Proficiency in Putonghua conducted by the State Language Commission (國家語委的《普通話水平測試等級標準》二級乙等或以上).
