This is a research-based degree programme, comprising coursework, seminar and research. Students have to complete a total of at least 26 units with a written thesis and oral defense for graduation.

The tuition fee will be HK$47,000 for 2026/27 and HK$49,500 for 2027/28, regardless of the study mode.
In addition to the general requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should have Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related discipline (e.g. biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, pharmacoepidemiology, etc.), preferably with honours at second upper division or above, or equivalent.
