Imaging and Interventional Radiology
Programme Information

The programme is research-oriented. Students should show ability for independent work and keep up with knowledge relevant to the topic of their projects. The minimum requirement for students in the PhD programme will be two seminars a year. In addition to satisfying the programme requirements and other requirements as prescribed by the Division, students will be required to submit a research thesis and pass an oral examination for graduation.

Tuition Fee
The tuition fee will be HK$47,000 for 2026/27 and HK$49,500 for 2027/28, regardless of the study mode.
Admission Requirements

In addition to the general requirements of the Graduate School, applicants should

  1. have a Master’s degree in a field related to medical imaging or the degree of MBChB or equivalent;
  2. provide a detailed curriculum vitae including in particular past experience in research and publications.

(for PhD programmes only)
  1. To submit an initial application to RGC: By 12 noon, 1 December 2025 (Hong Kong time); and
  2. To submit a full application to CUHK: By 11:59 pm, 1 December 2025 (Hong Kong time).
