Admission Requirements

The English Language Proficiency Requirement is as follows:

  1. possess a pass grade in English in one of the following examinations: H.K. Advanced Level Examination (AS Level), H.K. Higher Level Examination, CUHK Matriculation Examination, General Certificate of Education A-Level/ AS-Level; or
  2. achieve Level 4 or above in the English subject of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE)  examination; or
  3. have a degree from a university in Hong Kong or have taken a degree programme of which the medium of instruction was English; or
  4. submit a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), or 79 (internet-based/Home Edition); or a minimum IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5.

Applicants are required to submit a 500-word English statement addressing the following:

Describe the kind of advertising or media professional you want to become, and how this program will help you achieve that. Why do you believe advertising still matters in an age of information abundance and ad-avoidance? Please use personal examples and/or professional experiences to explain your perspective and what drives your interest in the field.

Applications will be processed on a rolling basis until all places have been filled. Early applications are strongly encouraged.
